Are you interested in applying for a scholarship?

Do you work for a not-for-profit or other purpose-driven organisation? Do you want to increase efficiency and improve outcomes through the better use of technology? Are you looking for a systematic and supported way to make that happen?

At the Digital Champions Club we offer a simple proposition. Two people commit two hours each per week, complete six to eight projects in a year and in doing so generate at least $200,000 in value for their organisation.

Each year we offer three scholarships (two half scholarships and one full scholarship) for worthy organisations to join the Digital Champions Club

Scholarship recipients receive a 12-month membership to the Digital Champions Club including one-on-one coaching, peer-to-peer learning, quarterly bootcamps and access to our online resources and project library (for full details of what the program involves, check out the program overview). The in-kind value of the full scholarship is $14,400 with the two half scholarships valued at $7,200 each.

Applications for the 2020 scholarships open in the first week of October 2019 and run through to the 31st October.

If you’d like to be kept in the loop about the Digital Champions Club scholarships please complete the form below and we will update you before applications open.

Eligibility

The scholarships are open to any Australian based, not-for-profit or for purpose organisations. Not-for-Profit status is not a requirement for application. We will ask you in your submission what it is that you do and that’s your opportunity to tell us about the difference you make.

There is no minimum or maximum size for organisations, though we would suggest that micro organisations (less than 10 staff) may struggle to commit the required human resources to be successful in the program.

Scholarship duration

The scholarships will run for one year from January to December of the year succeeding the awarding announcement. The full scholarship will cover 100% of the clubs membership fees and the half scholarship will cover 50% of the clubs membership fees for this 12 month period. for one year from .

Application process

Following the submission of applications during October 2019 a short list of applicants will be determined for follow up interviews. Interviews will be undertaken in the first two weeks of November with the successful applicant(s) being informed before the end of November 2019.

Scholarship holders are expected to actively commit to the program in the same way as full fee-paying members. This requires that

  2. The organisation will commit two individuals to the program who will each commit a minimum of two hours a week towards their projects
  3. The organisation will incur the cost of their digital champions attending the quarterly bootcamps in person in either Perth (permanent on the west coast) or Melbourne/Sydney (alternating on the east coast)
